PURPOSE FRAGRANCE CLUB takes your privacy seriously, with full transparency, and we collect and process personal data with the main aim of delivering value to you regularly through our smart fragrance products, technology and digital services and features attached to the product, all together defined as the Purpose Fragrance Club Experience . We also collect personal data in our website or in your web private area or section and in our mobile App and through the smart fragrances collection.
The Purpose Fragrance Club Experience is part of an ecosystem built by our smart fragrances, a consumer-facing mobile App / Webapp, and a digital platform designed to power all of it.
We process your personal data to enable us to interact with you or perform our services as effectively as possible. We value the most the trust you place in PURPOSE FRAGRANCE CLUB when sharing your personal information with us and we treat your personal data as a priority with the utmost care and in full compliance with privacy laws and international regulations.
The Governance of the personal data processed in the PURPOSE FRAGRANCE CLUB App for the brand’s digital interaction with our Club members is regulated under these current principles outlined below and also in the separate specific data privacy T&Cs of the APP agreed with our user members.
We only use your personal data for legitimate business reasons. We strive to be transparent with you about what personal information we collect, what we do with it and why. We strive to take steps designed to secure and protect your personal information and reduce the risk it will be misused.

This Privacy Notice («Notice») describes how PURPOSE FRAGRANCE CLUB («PURPOSE FRAGRANCE CLUB ,» “PFC», “we,» «us», or “our”) collect, use, share and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our website(s), private user areas, web app or application, which link to or display this Policy (the “Platform”).
When we use the term “personal information” in this Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you and that you accept to share with us. It does not include aggregated, deidentified or anonymized information that is maintained in a form that is not reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you.
TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Contact Information. For example, we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. We may also collect your mobile phone number.
Product usage information collected automatically and effortlessly for your benefit with our smart fragrances. Product usage information includes the level of product in each fragrance-pod and any prediction we can derive from it through data analytics.

Shopping History. For example, we may collect personal information about the items you viewed, added to your cart, purchased, subscribed to, or returned.
Information You Post or send. We may collect personal information you post in a public space on our Platform, or in your PFC App or Web app.

We may also collect personal information when you enter a promotion or a challenge in the App or Website. This may include your smart fragrance product usage, photos, videos and other user-generated content that you submit.
Demographic Information. We may collect your birthdate, age, gender and zip code. We may also collect personal information relating to your fragrance ingredients preferences, hobbies, interests, personal moods and shopping behavior.
Device Information. We may collect the type of device you use to access our website, App or Platform. For example, we may also collect your device identifier, IP address or mobile operating system.
Location Information. We may collect precise location information from your device. This may include information about your exact location when you use our Platform or may include information that allows us to approximate your location. We may also collect this information in the background when our mobile applications are not in use.
Log and Analytics Data. If you use our website, we may collect information about the browser you are using. We may look at what site you came from, or what site you visit when you leave us. If you use our PFC app, we may analyze how often you use the app, where you downloaded it, time you spend per section etc, all with the purpose of delivering you the most possible personalized services.

Use our Smart Fragrance products / collection as they do have sensors and communications to enable us delivering an enriched personalized experience to you.
Visit and navigate our Platform on any device.
Enable location-based features on our Platform.
Click on sponsored links or third-party partners’ advertisements.
We may also collect information about you on our different websites, apps, and devices when you use our Platform, using tracking technologies such as cookies, pixels, Flash objects, APIs, and mobile software development kits (SDKs) and we might in some cases use third-party services to collect this personal information when you use our Platform.

We use your personal information mainly to customize your experience with us: including providing recommendations for the best usage and application of the smart fragrances on your skin for superior performance and rewarding you for it; understanding your user patterns and lifestyle to better suggest how to use our smart fragrances collections; including managing and tracking your participation in the social rewards program to compute your benefits; including your sustainability-related behavior when you return the reusable fragrance pods to compute your green rewards in our program; including computing and tracking the pushes you donate to the causes selected by you in our charity/causes support programs.
To Understand Your Interests. For example, we may use your personal information to better understand what products interest you.
To Respond to Your Requests or Questions. This may include responding to your feedback or notifying you when required in the App, web app or through e-mail or equivalent measures.
To Communicate With You. We may communicate with you about your account or our relationship. We may also contact you about this Notice or our Platform terms and conditions.
To Determine Your Eligibility. We may use your personal information to verify your identity or determine your eligibility for some of our products, services and promotions. For example, this may include verifying your age, date of birth and state of residence and match it with our smart fragrance service delivery zones. If you apply for a job through our Platform, we may use the personal information you provide to evaluate your application.
For Marketing Purposes. We may provide you with information about new products, digital services and special offers. We might use your personal information to serve you ads about products and offers. We might tell you about new features or updates. These might be third-party partners offers or complementary products we think you might find interesting. Internally. We may share your personal information within the PFC company or Group of companies and brands.
On our Platform. For example, we may display personal information you post, Ratings & Reviews, or similar information. We may also display personal information you submit in connection with a promotion.

For example, this may include merchandise vendors and payment processors, or third parties helping with the security of our transactions or data like our cloud service provider. It may also include companies that send emails on our behalf or help us run our Platform, app or services. In the case of communications / telecommunications partners, they will never have access to your private information but only to the unique ID of your smart fragrances.
With Our Business Partners. For example, this may include a third party that co-sponsors a contest or promotion or an NFT drop or creation or provide technical solutions around those events.
We may also share personal information with data aggregators, advertisers, media buying agencies, advertising networks and advertising service providers only when that enables a better scoping of your interests and personalized services proposals.
For Business Transactions or Reorganizations. We may take part in or be involved with a corporate business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, IPO, joint venture, or financing or sale of all or a portion of our company assets. We might share personal information when we are investigating potential fraud or abuse in the use of our smart fragrance products, services, app, platform. Our Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 though our Platform. PFC Mobile Application and Location Based Services:
You may control our collection and use of location-based information through our mobile applications by adjusting the settings on your mobile device. If you withdraw permission for mobile applications to access precise location data, we may continue to approximate your location based on information like your IP address or equivalent methods.
You may completely opt out of all location-based information collection by us at any moment for our web site general navigation. For the use of our smart fragrances product services the location is a service delivery necessary data, so the opt-out will only be possible by opting out of the full service or subscription.
ONLINE ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY TRACKING
Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies:
We automatically collect certain types of usage and device information when you visit our Platform, read our emails or otherwise engage with us. When you are a member of our Club with an active subscription or smart-fragrances plan, any communication or personal services we deliver is and will be governed by the separate T&C that will be presented for you to expressly accept when you are about to formally request your first plan/subscription.

We use Google Analytics to better understand how our users interact with our Platform. For information on how Google Analytics collects and processes data, as well as how you can control information sent to Google, review Google’s site “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps” located at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
We may also utilize certain forms of display advertising and other advanced features through Google Analytics, such as Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. These features enable us to use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the Doubleclick advertising cookie) or other third party cookies together to inform, optimize, and display ads based on your past visits to our PFC web. COMPLIANCE
We respect all current legislation regarding the protection of personal data, the privacy of users, and the confidentiality and security of personal data, in accordance with what is established in legislation regarding the protection of data, in particular, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Union and the Council of 27 April 2016 (EU GDPR) and the United States equivalent privacy regulations applicable in some specific States (See below), adopting all the technical and organizational measures necessary to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, and theft of the personal data provided, taking into account the technological state, the nature of the personal data, and the risks to which it is exposed.

The Internet is not always 100% secure. Like all businesses, in PFC we cannot guarantee the security of the personal information you provide to us via the Platform. We have, however, taking certain steps designed to reduce the risk that the personal information you provide us will be subject to lose, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We also work with one of the top 3 cloud service providers that on a yearly basis invest billions in cyber-security for the services hosted in such platform. We encourage you nonetheless to use caution when using the Internet. A user id and a password are needed to access certain areas of the Platform or the App /Webapp. It is your responsibility to protect your username and password.
STORAGE OF INFORMATION
Personal Information we maintain may be stored in Europe and/or outside of the United States. If you reside in the US, you understand and agree that we may transfer your personal information to the United States or from the United States to European Union-located servers.
LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Only in certain specific cases our Platform may contain links to other third-party sites, plug-ins, applications or other online services. If you click on a link to a third-party site or other online service, you will be taken to a site or other online service we do not necessarily control and that is not governed by this Notice.
